The cost of treatment in JT Physiotherapy can be reduced for private health care patients by the following options:


1. Tax Rebate:

Tax Rebate is available on all Chartered Physiotherapy visits and depending on your level of taxation, you may receive a tax rebate of up to 42%. Claiming tax back can be done by completing a Med 1 health expenses form which can be found on the Revenue Commissioner’s website

2. Medical Insurance Cover:

Our Physiotherapists are all members of The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). Consequently your treatments are usually covered by VHI Healthcare, Laya Healthcare, Quinn Healthcare, Aviva, Glo Health Insurance and all other major private health insurance providers.


Please note that coverage may vary depending on your plan and your insurance company, therefore, please check your provider and policy to see how much they will reimburse prior to visiting us.

  • Laya Healthcare

    Please note that individual terms and conditions of each of the following healthcare plans may differ and excesses may apply:


    •  Essential Care

    €20 discount for each appointment for up to 4 visits.

     

    • Health Manager First, Health Manager Starter, Family Care, Credit Union Family, Complete Care 

    €25 discount per visit.

     

    • Health Manager Silver, Health Manager Gold 

    €25-€35 discount per visit.

  • VHI Healthcare

    Please note that individual terms and conditions of each of the following schemes may differ. Please note that excesses may apply to some schemes and vary from €1 to €25 per annum.


    • First Plan Select

    €20 discount for each appointment for up to 4 visits.

     


    • One Plan starter Day 2 Day

    €20 discount for each appointment for up to 3 visits.

     


    • Family Plan Level 1, Healthsteps Silver, Forward Plan Level 1 and First Plan Level 1

    €25 discount per visit for up to 7 visits.

     


    • Family Plan level 2, Healthsteps Gold, Forward Plan Level 2 and First Plan Level 2

    €35 discount per visit for up to 7 visits.

  • Aviva Healthcare

    Please note that individual terms and conditions of each of the following healthcare plans may differ and excesses may apply:


    • Level 1 Everyday

    Up to €30 per visit.

     


    • Level 2 Complete Health

    Cover included for Physiotherapy included in plan, but amount not specified. €20 discount for each appointment for up to 3 visits.

    Payment Terms


    • All fees are to be paid on day of treatment, including patients with private medical health insurance. A receipt will be issued to allow you to re-claim this from your insurance provider.
    • Payments can be made using all major credit and debit cards

3. Garda Medical Aid


St. Paul’s Garda Medical Aid Society may contribute to out-patient services. The society will pay 60% of the cost of Physiotherapy when prescribed – to a maximum of €35 per treatment and subject to a maximum of 10 visits in a calendar year. For more information click here for details. 


4. Hospital Saturday Fund


Employees of the HSE who have a HSA Health Plan may be eligible to claim back Physiotherapy costs depending on their policies.  Click here for details


5. ESB Medical Provident Fund 


Employees of the ESB who have hold MPF policies may be eligible to claim back between €22-€25 per Chartered Physiotherapy visit, depending on individual policies.  Click here for details. Click here for claim form



Cancellation Policy


Please note that it is important to give us at least 24 hours’ notice when you are unable to attend your appointment. If you cancel, change or miss your appointment without giving 24 hours’ notice a charge may be incurred (except in emergencies).
